Cancer Biology & Tumor Microenvironment

This track focuses on the fundamental biological mechanisms driving cancer development and progression. It explores the complex interactions between tumor cells and their surrounding microenvironment, including immune and stromal components. Key areas include tumor heterogeneity, angiogenesis, hypoxia, and immune evasion. Recent advances in molecular oncology will be highlighted to understand cancer growth and resistance to therapies. The session also emphasizes the impact of the microenvironment on treatment outcomes. Emerging technologies used to study tumor ecosystems will be discussed. Insights into identifying novel therapeutic targets will be presented. Overall, this track aims to support the development of more effective and targeted cancer treatments.
